Join us for a deep and immersive journey into healing, release, and renewal. This powerful workshop is designed to help participants:
✅ Release emotional burdens and limiting beliefs
✅ Reconnect with their inner child and community
✅ Set boundaries and reclaim personal sovereignty
✅ Engage in sacred fire ceremonies and medicine-making
Each day includes guided healing sessions, body talk meditations, and hands-on medicine-making, weaving together ancient wisdom and modern healing approaches.

Day 1: Unpacking the Backpack – Releasing What No Longer Serves
Theme: Releasing trauma, limiting beliefs, and emotional baggage
Land Acknowledgement
Elder/Youth Prayer Opening Songs/Drumming Specific to the Community
Morning Session: The Weight We Carry
- Opening Circle & Land Acknowledgement
- Introduction to the Backpack Concept: "What are you carrying that isn’t yours?"
- Group Sharing: Naming heavy experiences, grief, and limiting beliefs.
- Activity: Write down all the things you're carrying (grief, fear, trauma, shame) on individual pieces of paper.
Mid-Morning: Releasing the Burden
- Body Talk Meditation: Grounding the body, releasing tension
- Partner Exercise: Share 1-2 things from your backpack with a partner and verbally release them.
- Ritual: Burn the written burdens in a small outdoor fire. Speak out loud, "I release this from my backpack."
Afternoon: Medicine Making
- Medicine Focus: Herbal Smoke Cleansing Bundles (or Cedar Smoke Bundles)
- Participants gather herbs and create their own cleansing bundle to carry through the next 4 days.
- Intention: As they tie their bundles, they set intentions for what they wish to release.
Day 2: Healing the Roots – Inner Child & Lateral Kindness
Theme: Reconnecting with the Inner Child and Transforming Lateral Violence to Kindness

Morning Session: The Inner Child
- Guided Meditation: Connect with your inner child.
- Writing Prompt: "What did your inner child need most but didn’t receive?"
- Sharing Circle: Share as little or as much as feels comfortable.
Mid-Morning: Rebuilding Kindness
- Teaching: Lateral violence (harm within families, communities) vs. Lateral Kindness (support, empathy).
- Exercise: Identify 1 place in your life where lateral violence occurred. Reflect on how you can transform it.
- Group Discussion: How do we shift from lateral violence to lateral kindness?
Afternoon: Medicine Making
- Medicine Focus: Inner Child Comfort Tea Blend
- Ingredients: Chamomile, lemon balm, rose petals, peppermint, etc.
- Intention: This tea represents nurturing the inner child. Each participant makes a custom tea blend for their inner child.
Day 3: Boundaries & Breaking the Triangle – Stepping Into Sovereignty
Theme: Setting Boundaries, Understanding Triangulation, and Breaking Free

Morning Session: Triangulation (Bully, Victim, Rescuer)
- Teaching: Understanding the toxic triangle and how to break free.
- Activity: Map where you fall in the triangle in a current relationship.
- Discussion: How do we shift from victim/rescuer to personal sovereignty?
Mid-Morning: Boundary Work
- Exercise: Write 3 boundaries you need to establish in your life.
- Role Play: Practice having hard conversations and setting boundaries.
- Fire Ritual: Write down one relationship dynamic you need to release. Burn it in the fire.
Afternoon: Medicine Making
- Medicine Focus: Boundary-Setting Protection Tincture (Rosemary, Mugwort, Black Pepper)
- Intention: This tincture represents clear boundaries and self-sovereignty.
Day 4: Integration & Closing Ceremony – Moving from Pain to Power
Theme: Closure, Forgiveness, Acceptance & Moving Forward

Morning Session: Acceptance & Forgiveness
- Louise Hay Teaching: Forgiveness is for ourselves, not for them.
- Writing Prompt: Write a forgiveness letter (not to be sent) to anyone who has hurt you.
- Fire Ceremony: Burn the letter in a sacred fire, releasing anger, resentment, or blame.
Mid-Morning: Body Talk & Emotional Integration
- Body Talk Session: Use body talk meditation to integrate healing.
- Sharing Circle: Share breakthroughs, tears, and release.
Afternoon: Medicine Making
- Medicine Focus: Courage & Sovereignty Bath Soak
- Ingredients: Epsom salt, cedar, lavender, dried flowers.
- Intention: This bath soak represents closing the healing circle and integrating the experience.
Closing Circle:
- Share final reflections.
- Group commitment to lateral kindness and personal sovereignty.
- Invite participants to return for future workshops or healing circles.
Follow-Up:
- A follow-up circle 1 month later for integration can be offered virtually.
- Send participants home with a resource guide. (Louise Hay teachings, books on codependency, etc.)
